Original  painting – Feeding Time. A Mixed Media painting in oils are part of a my new collection in Mixed Media joining my Wildlife category. This original painting – Feeding Time is inspired by the fabulous Ospreys. Here I’ve used plaster, fabric, glue and oil paint which gives it a 3D effect and finally varnish. Take a look at my Wildlife Art Archives < Kate Cree Art   I’m very fortunate to live near Rutland Water and follow the Rutland Ospreys | Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust  project. Ospreys in the UK migrate south to Africa every winter – a journey of over 3,000 miles to Senegal and the Gambia – and they do this without their parents. They can live for around 20 years. ORIGINAL PAINTINGS in oils and mixed media are finished with a double layer of satin varnish for protection and can be lightly wiped if needed. Original paintings should be hung away from direct sunlight.. Copy right on original paintings, with the exception of commissions, is retained by the artist.
