MINSTRELS  PAINTING

Minstrels painting, original  in oils and gold leaf. Painted in a modern art  geometric style, so the true subject is hidden from view. Inspired by a sculpture that I did on my return from America.  This style of painting requires great attention to technique and form. I design the shape from my imagination, plan the colours, and eventually finish off with many layers of over-glazing with thin paint to create a hidden story.  Take a look at my other Minstrel that Way and other geometric art and keep looking deep into the painting.

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS in oils and mixed media are finished with a double layer of satin varnish for protection and can be lightly wiped if needed. Original paintings should be hung away from direct sunlight.. Copy right on original paintings, with the exception of commissions, is retained by the artist.
